Cutting up the frame

We were surprised to see how much material there was in this old frame...........9/64 inch woow...

The frame is now 2 inch longer and 2 inch lower, now we need to figure out how to put the ends together......

 

 

We have made these spacers but unfortunately a little too short, so we need to make some new and longer so they can be fitted in the cast bracket ......
